    Hey guys,

I’m kind of new here. My first CPA exam will be on BEC and i’m taking it on May 20. I see a lot of ppl have taking BEC already. Can anyone give me an idea on how the exam was? Was it mostly math related ( cost accounting)? I just want an idea so that I can better focus my time and study for the main topics that are more likely to be tested

tobiloba419 – When you take the exam you agree you will not share information as to what was on the exam. I took the exam and my advise to you is to just study everything. GOOD LUCK!

BEC - TOO MANY FAILS TO LIST! July 2015 I WILL GET IT!
AUD - AUG 2015- NEVER PASSED!
    FAR - LOST CREDIT
    REG - PASSED

What review course are you using? I looked over the Wiley book for BEC at the library this weekend and I feel like it has way more complex information that I would need for the exam, maybe I am wrong I haven't taken BEC yet but if that was my only study review I would be really scared that I was not going to remember everything. I have Becker and Ninja MCQ and I am hoping that will be enough. If you search BEC formulas there is an awesome list that comes up in this forum, so know that. I would also google BEC mnemonics and there are some good things that come up. Then know IT and COSO chapters is what I have read, so I made sure I have done the best and most of those in the MCQ.

Hi guys! My question is on how much of the topic you need to know in the WC (simulations) on the BEC exam. Is it graded purely on good grammar, communications, etc… or do you need to show you actually know about the topic being asked?

Not sure if I will pump into a question I can't answer because I don't know the answer to the question or topic 100%. Besides having good grammar…

Thanks! and good luck to all of you who are about to take it in May just like me.

I got a 69 the first time I took BEC using solely Becker, the 2nd time around I supplemented with Wiley. Get WILEY!! if you can, it gives you a better range of questions esp for the IT section. Just my opinion. And if you are weak on one area, do many questions, watch youtube videos (that helped me a lot), and just hound in on those questions. Because they will be on the exam.

    AUD (x3)81 (expires SEPT 2015)
BEC (x2) 81 (Lost Credit in March), Retake- 79
    REG (x5) 76
    FAR (x1) 62 Retake August 2015
