    Well, I can honestly say I didn’t expect this one. I made an 83 on the Wiley Final exam and felt good after the test. I also think the testlets got harder.

    Any suggestions? This one hurts.

    FAR 67, 73, 71, 76; AUD 61, 85; BEC 70, 77; REG 75

    DONE

    I'm very sorry to hear that. I have a terrible feeling about FAR which I took on 11/13, but just bought Wiley 2011 Regulation. Just keep moving forward. In my opinion, the hardest part is learning the materiel not taking the exam. I would just start studying again to touch up on certain parts. It's always easier the second time around. I pray to St. Joseph of Cupertino and hope for the best

    Audit Passed
    FAR Passed
    REG Passed
    BEC ??

    Yep I feel the same. I thought I at least did better than my 1st try but ended up scoring 3 points lower? My 2nd try for FAR was lower as well… Feeling really bad about myself atm. I think the Becker materials are not working for me. Stinks though b/c it works for so many other ppl. Taking BEC on 11/29 and already ready to throw in the towel for the year. Jeez

    Hope I'll be a cpa in 2011…

    Just keep your head up and keep plugging away at it. Look at it this way, you only need 15 points to get to where you need to be at. Do you think after just taking the month of December to re-study (and learn the updates) you'd be able to re-sit in January? It's always easier to get back in there during the next testing window and give it a try again.

    I'm sorry to hear the news, but remember you're not alone. Many of us on here have felt the same way you do. Keep your head up and blow BEC out of the water!

    Thanks for the encouragement.

    I also missed my FAR re-take by 2 points.

    I have BEC on 11/30 – hopefully I can salvage at least one pass in 2010.

    My first choice for AUD is Lambers. Becker would be my second choice. Do 3,000 questions for AUD and you will pass. AUD is a tricky word game and you need to do that many multiple choice questions to get the hang of it.

    My first choice for FAR is Yaeger. Stop Yaeger's DVD and work the multiple choice question before Yaeger explains the correct answer and incorrect answers. Buy Bisk Hot Spots with Bob Monette as the teacher for subjects in FAR that are giving you trouble, such as bonds, pensions, etc. You need to do about 2,000 multiple choice questions to pass FAR.

    You will pass. Hang in there and do not give up. The will to prepare is vital!

    @miller

    hang in there! I failed miserably on my first try on aud…53 but i just got my score tonight after stuffing my face and i gained 25 points and passed. I am using becker. I totally understood things more after the second time i listened to the lectures. Just buckle down and move on to your next test, then decide when you want to start studying again. Dont give up! best of luck to you

    IL - BECKER=============> DONE
    REG - 80; FAR - 65,79; AUD - 53,78; BEC - 71,68, 75 (used becker and yaeger for 3rd BEC)Ethics 95
