My first testlet was pretty easy.Questions was straight to the point. There were few questions on something that a moderator just edited out. Questions were similar to those AICPA release questions.Maximum question length around 6-7 sentence so it was pretty simpler as compared to wiley book. 2nd testlet was hard though and again third testlet was ok ok.There were few questions twisted.

My Simulations was brutal and totally edited out by a moderator.

Dont know what will happen ..Fingers crossed and hoping for the best..

I am planing for BEC next and using Yaeger material (at your pace plan). Please suggest me is it a good choice?

Also should i wait for the FAR results to come out or order material for BEC?

This thing was easily twice as hard as my previous attempt (October). I thought I had worked out my areas of weakness, but apparently my first attempt was just a lucky draw that I failed to take advantage of.

I'm extremely discouraged and frustrated. I literally cannot study anymore without harming my career and/or marriage. This may not be for me.

@CPA90x I feel the exact same way! 🙁 Just try not to think about it until score release – you never know what may happen! It will be worth it in the time, just take some time to deal with it and know you tried and you can't change the outcome now!

@ Rhea What was your study plan like? Did you only use Yaeger?

    FAR:TBD
    REG:TBD
    AUD:TBD
    BEC:TBD

I am using Becker self study, ninja blitz and Wiley (I am using the paperback version of the testbank)

    Brief overview of study method:
    1. Skim through chapter quickly
    2. Watch lecture videos
    3. Take a lot of notes on what the lecturers emphasize
    4. Complete half HW after lectures half after rewriting notes

Took my 3rd try at FAR today. I can't complain, I think this is the first “fair” exam that I got. First set was quite difficult I flagged about 5-6 but i know first one is :”medium” difficulty one for everyone. 2nd set was about the same difficulty level as the 1st one and 3rd set got definitely wordier and more difficult. A LOT of government questions.. it seemed more than 10 percent.. felt like more like 20 percent of the test was from gov..IFRS was big of course. I went into SIM w about 90 mins left on the clock. I did pretty well on 3 of them i think 1 research was okay and the other 3 i'm not too confident about.

overall i think it went okay for me. I was better prepared somewhat this time but I got the right kind of test i think. Too early to tell but I really hope I passed this time.. I am so sick of studying FAR. If I don't pass this time, I know next one's gonna be brutal. This is my chance to put FAR behind me.. I really hope I passed.

CPA90X – I feel you my life is upside down too my gf hates me my friends hate me i feel like i'm running around with Becker book in a war zone trying to study while avoiding bombs and snipers. Hang inthere just remember why you wanted to start this journey.

    CPA90x,

I feel the same way. The last FAR I bombed had – in retrospect – relatively simple SIMs. Infact, two of those SIMs I could now do in my sleep. NONE, on my second exam had J/E's you had to fill in. Thought I guess one could use J/E to solve for the required number.

I'm concerned that I won't get this lucky next Wednesday.

    AUD - 75*, 88 done 5/14! (*exp)
    BEC - 74 , 77
    REG - 65 , 76 (10 point combooo!!)
    FAR - 69 , 75

    Dr: intelligence
    Dr: luck
    . Cr: . advisory score

Studying/taking this test broke something lose. I have lost my mind. After nine months of non stop studying/ test taking I'm taking two weeks off. I'm on day four of my vacation and I feel like a normal person again.

Ok where do I begin.. Just came back from taking the FAR exam. It was an eventful morning when I got up and when I got to center, computer assigned almost acted out.

After my first testlet into the second I thought needed a break. My questions were hard and very long. No short questions all through to my third testlet which was moderate.. some easy questions and few short questions. On my third testlet, i realized my easy or short questions came after the very long one. Had few of those. Had one question repeats itself 6 times but i am confident on that one since i had seen it before when preparing and it was an easy…

My sims, were doable though my research question was insane but hopefully I should get some points on that. I did a lot of sims and spent hours studying journal entries from becker and anywhere I cam accross.

AICPA release questions helped me a lot( thanks to u who posted that we should study that 3 days ago) sample acipa good and most importantly Jeff's Ninja notes and the blitz he sent out 3 days ago. Thank you jeff, I am hoping I increase my score by 20 points like last time. This is my last section. Hopefully and Thanking God.. being positive I am done. Wonder what would I do not studying but .. will be sending time with my Kids who complained between work and studying I have no time for them.

Government Government, IFRS definitely study those. I realized everything is fair game. No big topics the one everyone goes crazy for on my exam . This time different from last time but I am glad my sims where doable this time.

Thank you all for your support. I am hoping and thanking God for good news March 7th. Good luck to all who are writing this week and next week before the window closes…….
