FAR Exam in One Month

    My FAR exam is in roughly a month, and I am only through F8 in Becker with a decent amount of MCQ’s to go. Am i behind or do i still have plenty of time? Also is 150 hours an adequate amount of hours for studying for FAR? I am working part time and in class full time so it would be tough to complete more than 150 hours of study. I would appreciate any advice!

    Well, I am also sitting at the end of May and I'm still trying to get through F6 so I'd say you're in good shape or else I'm really in a bad place lol

    Depending on how much time you are studying a week, you should have time. Make a point to get through the rest of Becker in the next week or so and you will have a couple of weeks to review.

    With that being said, don't go fast for the sake of finishing either. F8 and F9 are HEAVILY tested on the exam (F10 not so much but don't be surprised if you see a question pop up here and there on exam day).

    I'm just starting F8 and test the end of May. Eek!

    Hoping this works out as I'm not sure how much time I'll have for final review.

    AUD - 82

    BEC - 78

    Study Materials: Becker Self Study, NINJA Notes, NINJA MCQ for review
    Started March 2015 and finished December 2015 all on first attempt. Licensed CPA Jan 2016.

    I took audit in February, it was my first CPA ever… and I was no where near as terrified as I am for FAR.

    If it makes you feel any better, I'm taking FAR May 29th and finishing up my advanced accounting class May 7th. Ive only done F1 in Becker so starting May 7th at 11 AM, I will be hammer down on FAR. If I could, I would reschedule to July or August but my NTS expires this window.

    Yea I have the same problem my NTS expires in June as well 🙁
