    Hi guys,

I finished some of F10 today (Using Becker), but plan on starting my final review on Monday, giving me 1.5 weeks to study before my exam (10 days). I am overwhelmed given the fact that there is an immense amount of material in FAR. I didnt really do any progress test while going through all the chapters because I just wanted to go through all of them as quickly as possible in order to start my final review. Therefore, I am terrified I will not be able to remember stuff from F1-F5 come test day.

    – How should I plan on studying for the next week and a half? I was thinking covering 2-3 chapters per day, then doing a Final Exam, and then going over my weak areas after that.

    – If I see I am running out of time, what chapters should I absolutely spend more time on? Bonds, Leases, Governmental/NFP?

    – Is it worth buying Ninja Audio this late into my review? I didnt use any NINJA products for AUD or BEC. I have the FAR Ninja notes, but havent really used them. However, I am considering getting the audio for FAR even though if it is only for a short period of time due to the fact that I commute everyday (30 min), and I would use it any time possible in order to start remembering stuff from F1-F5 and to keep material fresh.

***Help me please!! I dont work so I have the next week and a half to study all day. I am willing to do anything in order to pass this exam! I cannot imagine failing and re-studying for it because there is sooo much material. Any input will be much appreciated!

Figure out where your weak spots are with the progress test or practice exam and prioritize that way.

Skim through the chapters with the outline Becker provides. Highlight and write notes on the outline.

Any topics that you know you're struggling with, just post it and maybe write the topic name on a piece of paper.

After you finish skimming and reviewing, you'll have a list of weak spots and you can then go back and focus all your attention on just those parts.

Government and NFP are an absolute MUST! Do NOT skip them whatever you do and even spend more time on them sacrificing time on other subjects. Bonds, leases, pensions, ect are topics you should have general idea of, but they don't compare to Govt/NFP. Spend some time knowing the difference rules with IFRS and more importantly know your journal entries.

I agree 100% with CPAHOPEFUL, although I sort of wonder if government/NFP only seem to be so numerous during exams because they're just so unique and different from the other materials.

I personally didn't really encounter all that much IFRS problems (maybe good luck/bad memory). I would first just learn the topics individually and take note of the IFRS rules that relate to them, rather than trying to learn IFRS as their own thing.

Well, I counted how many NFP/GOVT questions I got when I took the test on the 1st and it was quite a bit. No surprise though, they are worth anywhere from 16-24% of the exam.

Oh yeah, spend a lot of time on the monetary assets/liabilities section.

Should I focus a lot on the SIMS too?

Like everyone else said, NFP/Govt. accounting…must-know!!

I've used Ninja Audio on all the sections I've passed – Jeff single-handedly taught me Treasury Stock info for FAR, already. It's a GREAT tool for keeping you refreshed on items that you haven't reviewed in several days…I highly recommend.

If you're not working, 10 days is enough time to review. You're just gonna have to really attack…write your own flash cards, make charts, re-type your notes, and endless MCQs!

    AUD: 84 - Oct. 2013
    BEC: 83 - Feb. 2014
    REG: 91 - May, 2014
    FAR: 68, 96 - Oct. 2014...DONE

    CPAExcel, Ninja Audio (all sections)
