    i have FAR in 1 week. I am half way through F8 in the Becker review. I still have to go back and review my notes on the other chapters. Do you have any advice? can it be done?

    Do 200 MCQ a day to have a chance. I couldn't pass with just going over the chapters. I would honestly reschedule. How many multiple choice questions have you completed? Is this your first exam?

    I am not trying to be mean, but I would seriously reschedule. These exams are more complex than you are giving them credit. Reschedule about a month out and do 2000 to 3000 MCQ's. I have completed around 3000 and still don't feel super great. I know way more than I knew when I just went through the chapters once. You may pick up things or have much more of a grasp of these concepts than I or most people, but on average reschedule and cram MCQ's. Anyone else?

    Give it a go. Plenty of people push it back and still end up unprepared. Just bang out as many MCQs as possible from here till then. You have a fighting chance.

    I would agree with the 200 MCQ a day. Though I was burnt out doing 100 a day for last 2 weeks….. If you can reschedule, by all means.

    Honestly, you have nothing to lose if it is your first test. It is definitely up to yourself. If you feel unprepared and adding another week helps do it if not then just give it your best. FAR is definitely a BEAST! F9 sucks and good luck studying!

    I vote for rescheduling too, unless your NTS is about to expire. If you absolutely have to take it in a week, drop everything else and MCQ like your life depends on it. 200 per day is a minimum, not a stopping point.

    I am in the same boat but mine is just a retake and i am about half way done going through Roger Cram again while reading Ninja Notes and knocking out MCQ and SIMS. I really need to step up my SIM game since that is what has been holding me back from passing.

    The optional questions are the more challenging, so I would not skip them. I have only finished chapter 4, and decided to do some reviewing this week. Chapter 1 was easy, chapter 2 is about triple the material of chapter1 and will take a day and a half at least to review.

    Since you haven’t finished the chapters, haven’t done the progress tests or optional tests, you might want to postpone. Why don’t you take a simulated final exam at the end of Becker. If you score 70% or less, consider delaying for another 2 weeks.

    I'm with Spartans92 – wrap up your material, review and take it. Get it behind you. First off – you might actually pass. Second – depending on how much time you've been studying, you can only drag it out so long. Did you do 1 chapter a week? Granted I got a 72, but I did 1 Becker chapter a week, had the holidays hit and lost some time, picked back up and finally took it in Feb but had almost completely lost the first few chapters. If I didn't drag it out so long I would have done better (I think).

    You can do it! It feels good to get one test experience behind you.

    Unless you feel completely lost, don't reschedule. I also think you should do MCQ, but not 200 per day. You need to take the time to not only do the questions, but read the answer explanations so you understand why an answer is right or wrong. MCQ's are the key to passing FAR, but it's the explanations that help the most. I didn't hit 1000 MCQ's for any of my sections – FAR included. If you have a week, I'd make sure you finish the new material in the next 2-3 days, which would leave you 4-5 days to review.

    So Is the reason some of you are suggesting 200 per day, because he/she only has a week? I am taking mine at the end of May, which is a lot longer than a week, but I never can stomach more than 60-80 per day. I'm sure I'll have to ramp it up soon, but I'm sure not getting close to 200 now.

    Yes, that's why I said do that many. It was the time frame. Everyone is different at the end of the day. I did over 3000 and take the exam Thursday. I passed BEC and AUD by doing less, but FAR just has a ton of info. It took looking at some of this stuff 10x times before it fully sunk in. Anyone failing or struggling. Should do a ton of MCQ's and read the answers in depth and use google for further information and take notes. It's just a huge test. Put the extra time in and pass the test and move on with life. Either that or half do it and retake multiple times. I put a whole lot less in BEC, but I knew the subject matter well. If someone has a strong grasp on FAR topics going in… I would understand a reduced strategy.

    @credit revenue:

    Oh, I wasn't saying that I wasn't willing to put in the time, but at this point in my studying with trying to stay current, I have not had time to do an exhaustive review.
