15 days and counting. I’ve done Becker lectures and a lot od Becker MC’s.

I’m doing Ninja MC morning and afternoon, and listening to Ninja Audio in the car rides to and from work.

To those have already conquered the FAR-monster…What has been most effective for you in your last days before exam?

Our value does not come from our skills and abilities, as good as they may be; it does not come from our GPA, our job, a promotion from that job to a better job, our success on the CPA exam, or anything of the like; but our value comes from the fact that we have a Creator who loves us, cares for us, and desires to help us navigate the rough waters of this life in a way that provides security, hope, and true, everlasting joy while we anticipate the life to come, with Him.

    1) Every minute you're not at work, not eating, not sleeping, you should be studying. You'll regret those 4 hours you lost watching the Superbowl when you get your score and a “74” pops up.

    2) Do as many MC questions as possible, and then do a thousand more.

    3) For me, on the difficult issues, I would take handwritten notes. Those notes would also include the “must know” issues. During my last 3-4 days, I would take time to memorize those handwritten notes, word for word.

Tripp – sorry to disagree, but that's like telling someone to skip Christmas. He needs to get up early on Sunday and pound out about 4-5 hrs of good study time before the game. Then, he can enjoy a little time with family and friends to help relax.

Shane – sounds like you are in good shape. Even though I have not passed FAR yet, my best exams were when I had an entire week for review. I hit every question that I missed during my MCQ study at least 3 times, then started doing all questions in 30 MCQ sets, and would make sure I understood difficult subjects. Passed 3 back to back this way. Unfortunately, I got burned out and did not study well for FAR, which has now put me on the spot.

    CPA EXAM: DONE!!!!

Agreed, I think some R&R is one of the biggest parts. You can't be miserable 24/7 or you will lose your mind. Find time to study and find time to play.

Taking FAR next week and got a 69 on the GLEIM exam rehearsal. Should I be freaking out? I went back and reviewed my mistakes and now studying major topics but I am not really sure on what I should focus. I guess I am just anxious and need guidance.

    AUD - PASSED
    REG - PASSED

My great concern is not whether you have failed, but whether you are content with your failure.
