Hi there. Well, I took FAR on June 6th and I failed with a 67. I used Becker and was doing fine working one chapter at a time but when everything was combined during the review stage, I was trending 71-72.

I got the NINJA notes and MCQs. Does anyone know how this works? Do i start copying the notes first and then work questions? I would like to retake in 6-7 weeks.

    thank you!

I failed FAR too. I am writing Ninja notes and then doing MCQ. If I get the question wrong, I write the question and explanation why it was wrong. I read book on the topic only if I really don't understand it. I am reviewing the topics that I think I am not too bad on and have a good grasp and leaving beast topics (Bonds, Leases, Deferred taxes – my enemies) closer to my exam date so its still fresh.

I am also listening to audio to/from work. I am just behind in my preparation right now because of lot of things happening in my life (no excuse) but I am giving my 100% to try to knock FAR in my re-take.

    What is your plan?

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - NINJA in Training

    Hi there,
I was thinking of diving in with the assessment and seeing where my weak points are and then going back to NINJA notes to review? The review is great but i feel its the application and the MCQs. Maybe i'm wrong?

What worked for me was writing down the Ninja Notes on Index cards for each section then go over the MCQs. To coincide with the notes section I made a separate “only” JE index cards for each section. I feel once you get a really good handle of the JE everything will fall into place.
