I’m sitting for FAR, my first exam, in a few days and stressing over any/everything there possibly can be to stress over. Literally making myself sick.

Anyway, does anyone have a strategy or game plan for the Sims? I was thinking to quickly scroll through them, do the 2 I am most comfortable, maybe even 3 if there ARE 3 I’m comfortable with and think I can get the most points on, and then doing the research sim. And then try to tackle the final ones. I’m worried about doing the research first in case its hard to find or something and then I waste too much time on it just to get it wrong. Or should I just save it for last and with 10 minutes left force myself to start the research no matter what?

As you can see I’m over-stressing. What worked/didnt work for you? I did the first practice exam and did decent, but the sims on there were ridiculously easy.

Any last minute insight or tips?

DONE DONE DONE and DONE all on the first try! It IS possible, just keep on studying!

@cb_6185 I had been advised to do the Research SIM first but not to take more than 10 minutes on it. Thankfully on both FAR exams (first and retake) I found them fairly quickly…same for AUD. My strategy for all SIMS have been to scroll through all the SIMS first, find the research one and do that first and then start with the easiest SIM and work myself to the hardest. I found that to work for me because I didn't let myself get stuck on any one SIM for more than 15 minutes. I made sure to leave myself at least 1.5 hours to do them…on AUD I had longer just because there aren't any computational questions on that one. I even had time to go back to review and everything. This was my SIM strategy. Click through the SIMs really quick just to get an idea of what type of SIMs I'm looking at, but then just headed to the first and worked through it.

Each time I saved the research question for last because I never really had an issue finding it in the AL. REG is the only exam that the AL really helped me.

For FAR, just start completing what you can. I realized that if I didn't know an answer to one blank I would complete the others and the answer just seemed to make sense after that. Good Luck!!
