Hi everyone,

I took my first section of the CPA exam in November and received a score of a 70. I used 2011 Becker materials that I received from a friend.

I am signed up to take Becker classes for BEC starting on Dec. 1. If you were in my position, what would you do??

Take a day off to rest and then come back, study for the exam. Just DO it until you get it. Because you nearly make it so if I were you, I would spend more time to study for AUD when knowledge is still fresh. Did you use Wiley test bank? I strongly recommend it, MCQ MCQ MCQ MCQ MCQ. Practice makes perfect. Also, I've just found that “Text link” function on Wiley test bank is really useful cause it sums up important info according to the topic. You should focus on the topic that is important and you're weak at.

But I have signed up to take Becker BEC through DeVry (to get college credit) and I have already paid for it… Help???!

BEC isn't that bad of an exam especially if you have studied audit prior and if you're recently out of college. Your holidays might suck studying for both exams but I would attempt it especially since you were close. Do a ton of MCQ and you'll be golden.

Could you try to contact them to delay the course? If not, as Da Bears said, BEC isn't that too bad, as far as I know it's the easiest one among 4 parts. It might be hard to balance but you'll be FINE ^^.

Another question for you guys – of the ninja materials, which one should I buy? Which is the most useful? I think I need something to supplement my studying… Perhaps on my phone on a long drive somewhere or something.
