I have been studying the last couple of months to gear up for the big bad REG exam!

I am getting SOOOO confused by all the different rules regarding when to use basis, and when to use FMV in relation to entering a partnership/corp, exiting a partnership/corp, property contributions, etc. etc. etc.

Has anyone created or thought to create a spreadsheet or outline which lays out the different rules? I think that something like that would be the most painless way to learn how to tackle Gain/Loss calcs.

Any takers?!
