how is the Gleim test bank compared to wiley test bank for regulation? I feel wiley has a lot of random questions that are very unlikely to be seen on the exam and that aren’t really covered in most materials. Is gleim like this as well?

I use both test banks.

I find that Wiley more accurately reflects what I've seen on the exams. That being said I'm not sure I would have passed with out Gleim too. Gleams questions tend to be more detailed and more complex then I have seen on the exam however this helps me work out concepts I may not have understood with out the Gleim test bank.

I think every topic in Gleim and Wiley can show up on the exam be careful disregarding a topic that has one or two questions in any test bank or software it's probably fair game!

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

I know you're asking about REG, but in my experience with using Gleim for FAR, I found the questions to be unnecessarily difficult. I felt very confident about the FAR material. However, I started doing the Gleim MCQ's the last week before my exam and they did nothing but shatter my confidence. It was a MIRACLE if I could get 80% correct on any given practice test of 20 questions. I also reviewed the AICPA release questions and didn't see any that were as difficult as the Gleim questions.

I ended up purchasing the Wiley Test Bank and found the questions to be more appropriate. I scored a 90 on the exam.

Gleim questions may be fine for some people. There's nothing wrong with being overprepared, but for me, I felt like they were doing more harm (mentally) than good.

I have used Gleim for AUD and I am considering it for REG.

I do agree with Rupert – in Gleim my scores for AUD were 66 ish. I barely got to 75. On Wiley i was doing well with 80's.

Like Rupert mention some people would be disheartened on the lower scores with Gleim but for me it was more like okay I need to really be prepared and so I stuck to it. I would rather be over prepared for the exam and reinforce the concepts in my head.

I liked Gleims SIM's. So I will be buying it to supplement Wiley Test bank.
