How important is governmental auditing? I test in 4 days, and cannot seem to remember all the information for that section. I feel like I could read it over and over, but I am just wasting my time.

Any advice on what I should focus on most for governmental auditing? I really don’t understand the way its presented in the Becker text.

Does anyone have review sheets they made or anything to help? NINJA notes don’t cover this 🙁

Oh no. I'd say government is pretty important. As for the method to learn, stick to your best learning methods. Before the CPA exam, when you were in high school and college, how did you learn best? By practicing homework exercises? Lecture? By flash cards? By reading? Reading and writing notes? The answer to this question should dictate your study method.

Government was very challenging for me as well. I never mastered it, but I learned a lot about it by reading, taking notes, and doing simulations. I was very glad that I took the effort to learn it, because there was a lot of it on my exam.

By the way, the vast majority of my knowledge on government was absorbed in the very final days of studying. There's still hope for you! Take it seriously and give it all that you have. 200% effort is impossible to do long term, but you can definitely do it in your last 4 days.

Motivated by JC. I do it to make God proud.

Thanks, I figured I'd have to end up just cramming it. I learned all the COSO memorization garbage in the final few days before my exam with flashcards, so I'll try that method. Thanks for the feedback.

Anyone else, please feel free to contribute advice!
