Becker Question –

Why does it seem to be not as important? I’m pressed for time, should I do all the questions in chapter 6?

100% go over Financial Management and Cost Accounting. It was the reason I failed the first time. If you have time study it, do it. Also, absolutely know variances, it's the reason I passed the second time around with a 75. If I hadn't memorized the formulas in my car right before going into prometric I'd be planning my 3rd time taking BEC. I hope that helps.

Becker BEC chapter 6 is not heavily tested on the exam, However make sure you go over it and do MCQ as you never know one question might be the difference between a 73 and 75.

I don't remember much from chapter 6 being tested on my BEC exam. But that doesn't mean you won't see any questions.

As they say, hope for the best, expect the worse. Leave no stone unturned.

I agree with Rocky – I had one of the weirdest BEC experiences, EVER. 4Q people know exactly what I'm talking about.

I think you have to be really careful with BEC– since there is less material to cover, you can't really go in with known weak areas and luck out that they won't be tested, like you may be able to on something like FAR. So know everything. You will be glad.

I took the exam and had a lot of calculations. I would not skip Chapter 6 if I were you.

I think a lot of people get the misconception that the last chapter of the Becker text is not as important as the rest. This goes for any section. I know I thought it because that section was a self study and not an actual live class for me. I would not skip it, ratios and valuations are always a good thing to know and will probably be very valuable to you on the test.
