An auditor used test data to verify the existence of controls in a certain computer program. Even though the program performed well on the test, the auditor may still have a concern that:

    A.

the program tested is the same one used in regular production runs.

Is this question worded weird, or am I misunderstanding the question? Why would it be a concern that the program tested is the same one used in regular production runs? Wouldn’t it be a concern that the program tested is NOT the same one used in regular production runs?

I feel like this is the equivalent of saying to somebody “I’m concerned that you’re happy lately” and not “I’m concerned that you’re not happy lately”

I agree with you, the wording is odd.

Ok thanks. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't thinking about the answer wrong conceptually.

Some of these IT related questions are words and phrases created so that you can be tested on them, but aren't actually used in the real world.
