Hi all. I got an offer from real estate property management company as staff accountant. The company is handling commercial/residential properties, mortgage and title service. I will do GL reconcile, account for loan held for sale and mortgage banking etc. I do not have any experience in RE field (nor public accounting)and have no idea what career path would be. Anyone in RE industry can tell how is real estate industry as an accountant? Is it better to get public accounting experience before jumping into industry?
