    NINJA Question –

Last month I failed Far with 72.

At that time I had Ninja trending score of 50%. I am restudying for Far for a week and I am still having 50’s!

I am so frustrated. Do you guys go over by a section? I even feel like I want to memorize all the questions and improve score 🙁 If I look at the txtbook, I know the stuff. But when I do MCQs, it doesn’t show that I do.

How do you improve MCQ score?

    FAR-81
    AUD-88
    BEC-75
    REG-1/26/17

    A: 64 71 88!
    F: 72 69 65 81!
    B: 70

You should look on your dashboard and see which topics you did the worst on…Try to do questions just on that chapter/topic. The whole point of NINJA MCQ is to hone in on your weak areas. If you are consistently getting 50's on all the topics, then you need to go back and re-read the chapters. Memorizing MCQ's is not a good idea, the test is not going to have the same questions. You need to figure out how to apply your knowledge to each question. For instance, if you know how to calculate gross profit, deferred gross profit, etc on installment contract method…then you should be able to apply that to every installment problem they ask, no matter what distractors they throw at you. I'm studying for FAR too,, it's a b****…We can do it! U got really close, i am sure you can get it this time. Just put the time in:)

    BEC - 76 (1/24/15)
    REG - 82 (4/13/15)
    AUD - 89 (5/31/15)
    FAR - 78 (8/16/15)

Starting right now I'll be strong
    I'll play my fight song
And I don't really care if nobody else believes
'Cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me

@iloveaccounting220: I appreciate your answer. I have been plugging away at mcq's and have a notebook with notes and was trying to decide what to do to get my scores better. I have about 17 days til test time, I trust the adaptive part of the test bank, but I was not sure if I should go topic by topic. That might be how to get this to stick. My other problem is reading the questions. Sometimes, I answer before reading or miscalculate which equals wrong answer. I'm not just doing problems but applying as well….duh ( yes I knew that, but it just seems so simple when someone else says it). It's gonna come together, I can feel it.

@jueporo thats what I'm doing right now with Ninja MCQ going section by section with my notepad taking notes. Wow you were trending in the 50s and managed to get a 72 on the beast thats great. I'm not trending great either Ninja MCQ are kicking my butt. I plan on writing all the important JEs to help with the MCQs.

I know how you feel. Best thing to do is slow down and read the question. I'm not sure about the other test banks out there, but I would bet some serious coin that it's one of the most challenging. I have Becker and I don't think it's as tough.

    FAR - ?
    AUD - ?
    BEC - ?

TNcincy – what is your trending and average score right now? At first i would do all of the questions to see where my weakest areas was. Then i would customize the MCQ's so that i would only see questions for that chapter, i also chose “new questions”. There is over 1500 in FAR MCQ's, i wanted to see as many as time allowed. Did you hit review phase yet or are you still learning new chapters? I am using Becker to learn the concepts and then doing their homework along with the NINJA MCQ's. After i get through all the chapters, I plan on just focusing on Progress Tests in becker and MCQ's in Ninja. I also save one or two days to concentrate on SIMS only.

I have been reading posts and looks like Ninja is more difficult than WTB and WTB is more difficult than actual exam. But people say Ninja is a better product. Price wise Ninja is much cheaper though. I don't know if I give a try to WTB instead of Ninja this time.. Ninja frustrates me so much!!

@ iloveaccounting220 I am in the adaptive phase, I am trending 50% and yes I am still learning new chapters. I am really learning them through the questions since I don't have the time to go back to the book. Well, I guess I could go to the book and put in more study time. This is the long stretch and I am willing to do what ever I have to do, even if it means all nighters. Any help is appreciated.

    @tncicny

That is the method that I used to pass AUD in 22 days – (started studying on 05/08 after I got the FAR score since I was convinced I had failed FAR again ). I was so pressed on time however I wrote down almost all the answers for the questions I would miss. It seems very time consuming having to write so much but it did work for me. Sometimes the answers to the questions had a much better explanation than the lectures or the text.

    You can do this!
