I am currently a full time Staff Auditor and am studying for BEC right now. I get home about 7:00pm and study (usually do mcq’s) from about 7:30pm -9:30pm during the work week. On my downtime at work I read notes, bec book, and do questions but not every day. On my train commutes I read notes but usually listen to ninja audio. Weekends usually consist of 6-8 hrs of a mix between reading and MCQ. My test is Aug 28th and hope to pass! Sound sufficient? What do you do?

Can you sneak in an hour mid-day to do MCQ? Or maybe 15 minutes every 2 hours at work to do MCQ?

Do you think reading notes is helpful or can you do MCQ? For me, reading notes, my mind wanders almost immediately or I think I know it, so my brain just skips things. Maybe trade notes for MCQ as well. I think doing questions is one of the biggest helps. Audio is great too… maybe listen to that during the day?

Like Samdiegocpa noted above, I usually try to do 10 questions at the top of every hour when things are slow at work and then I try to work questions during the lunch. Reading is hard for me to do because my mind wanders and I can never fully concentrate at work. In the evenings I study from 730 – 930. But it also depends on how I feel. Some nights I am really into studying so I keep going past 930. And other nights getting an hour is a struggle.
