How long before I received NTS ?

    I applied 9 days ago to sit for CPA exam. I know NASBA received all documents, since I request copies of the transcripts and received them few days ago. How long did it take you to receive a NTS (first time applicant) ? Website states 6-8 weeks. I need to get a headstart on studying, plus a deal on cpaexcel ends tomorrow and I sure don’t want to miss it.

    Why don't you go ahead and purchase CPAExcel? It does not expire.

    They didn't even look at mine until the 8 week mark. It was like they had a calendar and circled the date or something. Then they screwed around a bit, forgetting to read an entire page of my transcript and stuff like that.

    On the bright side, once they actually got around to looking at my file, they were communicative and got things resolved pretty quickly.
