How long to get ATT after applying to sit?

    Hi all,

I sent in my transcript and application to sit exactly two weeks ago today (Monday). I haven’t received anything from them and am becoming a little anxious. I checked my bank account to see if they had cashed the check for my application fee and section fees, but it has not been cashed.

How long does it usually take to receive the ATT after applying? I’m in Kentucky, by the way, so I had to send it in via snail mail to the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy.

I applied in MO electronically and got my NTS 4 weeks later. I would call the board and confirm they received your application. They may have it but not cash the check until the application is accepted or rejected.

Wait…do I not actually receive the ATT? Is that sent straight to NASBA who then sends me a payment coupon before I get my NTS?

I am in CA. The ATT time usually varies. First ATT, took at least 5 weeks. Second ATT, less than 3 weeks.

You will receive something in your email, telling you to log in and select your sections. 2 days later, you'll get the payment notice to pay for your sections. Then a week later, you'll get your NTS.

    IN CA, though!
