I use to work out for an 1 hour a day and now I substituted studying for that hour. Only so many hours in the day.

Oh boy my health is something that I think about every day. I’ve already gained about 10 pounds at least. Use to work out 2 hours – 5 days a week and now use that time to study instead. Good by abs and hello cup o noodles. I can’t wait to get back to the gym soon hopefully.

Nothing, I eat right and get my exercise daily. Keep the exercise and cut out the tv and extra stuff and use it for study time instead.

You shouldn't let an exam stand in the way of your health and well being. I workout every day and wouldn't drop it for anything. It's a great way to reduce stress and you can always just listen to NINJA audio while you're doing it.

I lost about 10 pounds. Cut down lifting from 5 days to 4 days about an hour each day and did cardio 3 days instead of two. Ate less because of the energy drinks replacing some snacks. Any other weight loss was due to stress. I'd say 80% of the weight i lost was muscle so its not a good thing. Also havent had a drink since September.

Taking FAR on Thursday, crying and drinking on Thursday night. Eating all weekend. Starting back up Monday.

    Balls…

At least 15, but it has been a combination of the test and my husband's hours changing at work. He can't cook dinner anymore and I don't get home until 6:30 or 7:00 so the kids and I are usually eating pizza, ramen noodles (they LOVE these), or some quick to prepare meal. We try to do crock pot meals often so it's ready when we get home, but those aren't exactly healthy all the time. AND I snack a lot while studying. I don't bother cooking on the weekends if the kids are with my parents so I eat quick meals then too. Once I'm done I plan on losing that and the rest of the weight from my kids since I started the test when my youngest was only a few months old.

I got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. therefore, I lost like 40 pounds….

so…I blame the CPA exam for the diabetes 😛

I've lost 25+ pounds since passing the CPA (in my 30's). I didn't realize just how my body's transformed over the two year long ordeal, until after I shed the weight.

I was able to start road cycling in earnest after the exam. I had a great 2,750 mile summer/fall season! The books are a distant memory now. I'm doing hiking on colder days, riding on warmer days and will start training for my pilots license soon.

My advice is to not worry about it during the process. Devote all your time and energy to the cause, lest you risk coming up short in both endeavors. If you can continue with your workout regimen with little effort, by all means continue to do so. My experience is that this is not the case for a majority of candidates.

None. Stress kills my appetite in general. I still keep to almost daily trips to the gym. I look over notes on the treadmill. It's a great way to keep my energy up and run off the stress. The gym keeps me sane.

when I started to sit for this exam I was working in Public. Traveling 10 months out of the year and studying caused me to gain 35 lbs. Ever since I switched jobs a few months ago I've lost 30 lbs.

    Pre CPA- 6'4″ 225 lbs

    Present- 6'4″ 255 lbs

I'm guestimating that about 10 lbs of muscle has turned into fat as well.
