Audit was my first section and I found out I failed. I’m extremely disspaointed and dont want to face anyone right now. Although I’m going through my last semester in the MSAcc program, I’m going to try to sit for it in April and just do a review for all of March whenever I get the chance. I would like some feedback on how I went about things.

I used Roger CPA review course combined with Wiley test bank. During my Wiley sessions, I was consistently scoring 70-80%. What I feel was the determining factor were the simulations. They resembled FAR a lot more than I thought. This time around, I was going to sit through the Roger lectures again and maybe purchase the cram while working MCQs.

    BEC - 79
    AUD - 7/22/15
    REG - 8/31/15
    FAR - Sometime in November

Yep, sounds about right. You need to knock the MCQ out of the park and hope to get a decent amount of the SIMS correct. I knew next to nothing when I did my AUD sims but I definitely hit the MCQs straight through on my exam.

    AUD - July 2014 - 76
    REG - August 2014 - 82
    FAR - November 2014 - 78
    BEC - January 2015 - 81

    DONE!!!!

Used Becker online. Who needs a text when you can burn your eyes out staring at the screen for months on end?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you're hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

I'd say even when you get a question correct, go through each answer choice and understand why it's correct, AND why each of the others are wrong.

Dissect the material. Understand more details.

Get more practice questions if you're familiar with the ones you're already using.

    Repetition is the key!

    Practice, practice, practice.

Work as many practice SIMS as you can, and as many MCQ's as you can.

You'll start to notice some details that you weren't noticing before.

    FAR - 86 - 2/27/14
    AUD - 75 - 5/29/14
    BEC - 80 - 8/31/14
    REG - 89 - 2/27/15
    Praise Jesus! I'm done!!

    Becker
