most definitely will offend many here, but loving it, especially the exam part, isn't the point of this profession.

my personal experience is just to practice the problems and modules, then read the answer and explanation over and over, without using your own thoughts, which are apparently unsound for this exam.

Over time, it becomes a matter of muscle memory such that skimming at the live exam questions instantly gives you the answer.

    more anecdotal evidence:
    3 AUD attempts.
1st: 73 (flimsy familiarity with both multiple choice and modules)?
2nd: 72 (did well on multiple choice, tanked module)?
3rd: 95 (stopped everything else in life, also made extensive use of downtime at year-end; completed the test without emotional valence)

long story short: pretend you've been lobotomized and just do it.

For me it's knowing it's my last exam. But boy has it pissed me off the past 2 days lol

@ROCSAGE – how did you go from not passing to a 95?

    -----------------------------
    BEC - 77, 03/2015 (first try)
    FAR - 79, 05/2015 (second try)
    REG - 83, 12/2015 (first try)
    AUD - 84, 03/2015 (first try)

I got 99 problems but the CPA ain't one.
