    Hi everyone,

I took AUD 2x in early 2013, so I’ve been away from it for a while. I’m scheduled to take AUD in about 5 weeks. I didn’t plan on listening to the lectures again, but instead doing all MCQ’s and note-taking. Any advice on how to refresh my memory on some of the topics?

    Thanks 🙂

    A - 67, 64, 92!!
    R - 61, 75!
    B - 80!
    F - 68, 78!! DONE!

I am retaking AUD in May after my 74 from January. I just restarted this week (after getting owned by FAR last week) but I am re-reading the whole Wiley book, taking notes on anything important, and doing the multiple choice questions after each chapter in the book. After that I plan on going through WTB until I get an 80% on everything then do SIMS because that's what killed me last time. To finish things off I will rewrite my notes and ninja notes. I plan on restudying for 5 weeks but we will see I may make it 4

I also had a decent break between failing Audit and retaking it (failed in April 2013 and didn't retake until October 2013 – life got in the way!). I did go back through the lectures (Yaeger review) and it helped me to clear up some of the topics that had been confusing the first time through. I would recommend memorizing every single mnemonic you have, making sure you know everything about management's assertions relating to the financial statements and every type of report that is issued. Know what requirements each report has, what the modifications to reports are, and what order the modifications go in.Beyond that, just really try to understand how management's assertions are tested during an engagement and the process for evaluating internal controls. Oh yeah, and – just like every one of these tests – work through multiple choice questions like you're an unhinged addict who just can't get enough!

I can't say that'll work for everyone, but that's all I did for the retake and it worked for me so hopefully it can help!

    FAR - 75
    AUD - 72; 87
    REG - 64; 74; 84
    BEC - 88

    Done!!

I failed aud twice before i passed. i would highly highly recommend ninja audio for AUD. i added that for my retake and listened to it about 100 times (very little exaggeration). I also bought WTB for AUD (because i had already done all my study material test questions. and went over the M/Cs slowly (no one cares if you can do 5000 M/cs in a night if you dont have a clue why you are getting ones wrong). just go over the questions slowly and understand every Q

    AUD - 75
    BEC - 77
    FAR - 78
    REG - 82
    AUD: 61-67-75 (Thanks ninja aud)
    BEC: 77
    FAR: 78
    REG:69-73-70-82

    Aud-75 3x I knew i never liked you
Bec-77 1x being in the bubble is stressful
Reg-82 4x its not me its you...and no we cant be friends
    Far-78 1x easiest section
