I took the REG exam today… I feel numb. I have studied all nights after work and prepared so well, only to find some huge sims that are mentioned on my book in just one single sentence.

I did the best I could… and it took me the whole 3 hours allowed to complete the exam.

They are going to give out the scores before March 10 2014… and I think I am going to take some time now to relax until I will get my awful score so I know I will have to review REG again instead of moving on to my last exam, BEC.

    Ciao…. 🙁

Until you see the score you have hope so don't get yourself upset. Most of us have been where you are right now.

Don't be so hard on yourself outrenthome… I came out of my REG exam wanting to cry too and I passed with an 80. Try to stay positive until you know your score and even then, there's no use in beating yourself up. Not everybody passes on their first…Second… Third… or even fourth try. Just don't give up and everything will work out in the end.

Haha, I'm avoiding doing tax returns at work. And just trying to help make others smile… Hope it's working b/c like I said earlier, you all put me in a great mood. I've been smiling all day, trying to return the favor.

The REG SIMS killed me as well, twice. The second time I walked out feeling like I failed again as the SIMS were once again out of left field. However, I just found out today that I got a 91. It's normal to feel down on the day of the exam. The reason is that you tend to dwell on the ones you know you missed instead of focusing on the ones you nailed.

Focus on the good and you may be surprised. If not, you can always take it again in a month and come back strong. That's what I did and I increased my score by 17 points. You can do this.

"I've missed over 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost over 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot, and missed. I've failed, over and over and over again in my life. And that is why, I succeed."
    - Michael Jordan

    BEC: (54), (72), 80 (losing credit on 02/02/15 - nervous)
    AUD: 78
    REG: (74), 91
    FAR: (71)

When I took Reg, I had one SIM that was only mentioned on one line in the entire Beckers book. I had no idea how to do it and left most of it blank. I still passed with flying colors. Don't sweat it too much. Press on to your next section.

    REG - Nov 4, 2013: 88
    FAR - Feb 27, 2014: 86
    AUD - April 5, 2014: 91
    BEC - May 6, 2014: 83

    Florida CPA 24 July 2014
(Done in seven months - thank you Jesus!!)
