I would personally just state that you are progressing toward your goal of passing the exams and are halfway done, I don't think any potential employer needs to know which parts you have passed.

if you want to talk about CPA exam during the interview with employers, you should put it there. I put a section: CPA: passed Audit and Regulation sections right below my GPA.

If its a highlight of your professional and education life, put it on your resume, but unless you're a CPA many people might not take it seriously (like a halfway done with college student)

    I listed mine like this:

    CPA Exam Candidate

    Passed Section: REG

Currently Testing: BEC, AUD, & FAR

During my interview it grabbed their attention and we continued to talk about my cpa studies, grad school, etc., etc. I ultimately got the job, but I wouldn't say that is what got me the job.

I think it's good to show you are committed on completing your certification.

    CPA Canidate

AUD, BEC, REG Complete. FAR Fall 2014.

Posted just like that on my resume. Quick, concise and shows there's a completion plan.

I believe it is absolutely imperative to show on a resume if you are new to the profession. It compensates for a lack of experience by saying “I may not be a senior because I haven't been here for two years, but I have passed two exams, which is two exams more than most seniors have passed.” Essentially, it shows that you know how to be an accountant, despite a lack of experience.

Thanks for posting this question sleep, and thanks for the answers everyone. I find out my score on my first section on Monday and then I'll be sending out my resume to lots of firms, so it was definitely a question on my mind as well 🙂
