I have to admit that I’ve lost my momentum a little bit.

BEC is REALLY my nemesis!!! It has defeated me twice!!!

My study plan for BEC this time will be… First I will hear all the lectures (both Spanish and English)… Then read the chapter, and last answer all the MCs and do the WC.

Study, review, repeat…

I don't know if I count..but I take Reg on 10/6 and BEC on 10/15 and then all I can do is wait….My study plan…pray, study, pray, review, pray…repeat…lol I am going to need all the help I can get….

BEC is nothing in terms of PITA when compared to REG or AUD.

For BEC just make sure you really understand the concepts and none of the questions will be that shocking. Ironically BEC was my lowest score, even though I found it the easiest and certainly “best” section. But I did bomb my WC I'm sure.

Sandra… I respectfully disagree. Even in the testing center, the employees (which have become my friends now) are always saying that most of the CPA candidates find BEC the hardest. It is just the product of evil… I certainly find it the hardest one.

It had to be yours also… Your score, even though a very good one which I would love to have, agree as well.

I agree with jokami..people told me to save BEC for last bc it is the easiest, however even though it may not be as much material I believe it is just as hard as FAR and REG in its own way…Just my opinion…

What is your study plan? Also, why are you taking these two test so close in the testing window? Is it because your NTS expires on 10/15 or you decided to take them that way?

I didn't want to but the wife and I are having our first child in November and there is a bunch of things that I have been putting off that needs to be done before the baby comes…I have a long list and I will only have a few weeks to get them done. So instead of just not taking it until after having the baby which things will not calm down until december (which I can't take it then, so I would have to wait until January), I decided to try and pull a tough one and take it really quick…I wish I had more time to study but there are things that I have to get done…

The study plan is going to be crazy…I will be living off of coffee and 5 hour energies for those 8 days between my REG and my BEC exams….Alot of waking up early and staying up late…and that one weekend…I will be non-existent to anyone…will probably put in 20+ hours alone on the weekend…I am glad it is a restudy and not a new study, however it will still be extremely hard….

Well first of all congratulations of your first baby!!!!!! It is a VERY tiresome process but it is worth it!

I second your desicion in trying to complete everything before the baby arrives. There won't be time for anything else than for attending your wife after the baby arrives…. LISTEN TO ME!!!! JUST attend her… People tend to forget that not only the baby arrived but the mom is also convalescing.

I wanted to take it on Oct 11 but I really have not started studying and my NTS has not arrived so maybe that date won't be available… I'll obligate myself today to at least cover chapter 1 and read it; no excuses!!!!

I am on the same boat.. I always get 68, 61,69, and 69 again. I passed FAR and REG already, just not understand why it's so hard for me to pass the BEC since it's not really hard..

Im on board as well. I find this exam to be pretty hard as the topics are sooo random. crossing my fingers for Oct 20th. Ready to put this bad boy studying to rest.
