If I took an exam on July 1st, when can I expect to have my score?

August 4th will be the correct date. I made this mistake my very first time taking an exam and waited over a month which is miserable. After that I started looking at the score release breakdowns and scheduling my exams on the last day. It can be beneficial to take your exam at the beginning of a window if you'd also like to take another exam at the end of the window. My $0.02 would be to not wait for the score release of the first test before studying for another, I'd pick another exam and shoot for taking it at the end of the window and if you didn't pass the first exam come back and restudy to take that exam again at the beginning of Q4.

    Good luck!

At least you're dealing with the AICPA. That's not too bad a wait compared to the ICMA. I've already waited 7 weeks for my CMA exam score and it will be another 7-10 days before release. Can you sense my impatience? =P

@ARCPA2B Wow this is terrible. I got a 74 on AUD last window so I thought I'd take it again ASAP and fit BEC in the same window, so that was the logic. But, wow, a month is terrible. Sorry to hear @blue24 hang in there

You could still start/sit for BEC at the end of this window and re-study AUD if need be during the break before the next quarter. If you passed you will be happy you moved on (and didn't waste a month) and if you failed after being so close previously a change of material before coming back to AUD again may help you reset and conquer AUD the next attempt. However, after a 74 the first time I'm hoping you passed!

My first mishap was a 73 on FAR first thing in January, I immediately studied for AUD afterwards thinking I had scored a lot lower on FAR, crushed AUD and then returned to FAR after AUD and you can see it worked out well for me.

You have 8 weeks still to test at the end of August.

I am taking AUD tomorrow. I will take a few days off and start hammering for FAR on the 30th of August. If I fail AUD again, the earliest I can take again is Oct 1

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - 86
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - NINJA in Training
    AUD - 71, 73

    BEC - 74, 86

    REG - 77*

    FAR - 57

    *expired

(I have been trying to become a CPA since 2013). only one test down.......

    FAR: 63, 55, 62
    REG: 65, 77*
    AUD: Fail, 64, 71
    BEC: 72, 74, 81

    *expired

August 4th, that is a long wait. I sat July 1st as well for BEC. I have read on here that those scores take longer, is that true?

I sit for REG Aug 14th, I am seriously thinking about not looking at my exam score until I sit for REG.

I also don't see why if you sit for a test July 1st and find out Aug 4th that you don't pass it, why they wont let you sit again before Aug 31st. Its not like any one test is the same. They really need to revisit that. It really limits you and I am starting to run out of time!!
