    New baby #2 (yay!)

    Time to study?!? (boo!)

I failed FAR in May with a bloody 74, I still need 75 points! I feel that my deficiency in NFP and governmental really did me in to the tune of 1 point.

    Here’s the action plan:

-Finish my 500 questions left from CPA excel, and review a lesson that i’m week from that set.

-Read a portion of the ninja notes each night

-Start writing ninja notes again as soon as those 500 questions are done (hoping end of july ish)

-Start pounding out the ninja MCQ like crazy in august

-Sit down for 2 sessions with my old NFP/Gov professor and really hammer those 2 sections at that time.

Any thoughts and suggestions on surviving with a little person that eats every 3 hours, regardless of time of day or night?

    REG- (1) 76
    FAR- (2) 64, (5)74, (7)83 (Over achiever!)
    AUD- (3) 70, (4) 75
    BEC- (6) 75

Get on the same page as your spouse immediately. Set up a study schedule and stick to it. When you aren't studying, do as much as you can to aid your spouse with the kids and around the house. Throw in a load of laundry before you sit down to study and study hard for 30-40 minutes (until the load is done), take your break and switch out the laundry and wash a couple of dishes or change a diaper, then get back to it until the dryer goes off. The more you do when you aren't studying, the more likely your spouse is to make sure you get the time you need to study.

I studied (and have passed each time on my first try so far) with a newborn. My youngest was born at the end of May 2013, I graduated the first week of June, and started studying in August. Put your study schedule on the calendar, get audio and listen to it while you're doing the dishes, walking the baby around the block to get him/her to sleep, get whatever apps you can on your phone with MCQs/etc so you can knock 'em out while you're in the rocking chair having FINALLY gotten the baby to sleep and are scared to move…

    Good luck, you've got this!

    FAR - 79 (11/27/13)
    AUD - 76 (2/1/14)
    REG - 77 (5/30/14)
    BEC - 88 (7/18/14)

    MN Ethics - 100% (3/9/14)

    AND DONE! 8/1/14
