Throughout the past 4 weeks, I went through the CPAexcel lectures and MCQ and went over the Ninja Notes and Ninja Audio 3x and wrote the Ninja Notes 1x. I just went through a set of 72 MCQ session on Wiley Test Bank and I got a 46%. And also this will be my third attempt at REG after already failing 2x. My confidence and optimism is falling apart. I have approximately 3 weeks left to prepare and I honestly do not feel I am making any progress. Any thoughts, suggestions?

I feel the same way but i'm studying for FAR, REG was ok for me, the only advice I would give you is to find what really works for REG, I'm not sure if you are studying the same way as BEC but in the 13 times I've taken the cpa exams, I know now (3 years later) that you have to study each section of the exam differently. For example, for REG I was ok with just reading the book, re-writing the ninja notes and writing my own notes; HOWEVER, with FAR that method is a dead end. I have to watch the lectures sometimes twice before I can understand what the hell they are talking about so I can maybe get an ok score on the homework.

Hang in there! We have to make it!

I recommend focusing on tax and doing lots of tax MCQ's from the WTB and cpareviewforfree. The law questions from both of those are paragraphs long and their difficulty doesn't compare to the actual exam. When doing the questions from the WTB, try working on one area at a time, I think that would help with honing in on your weaknesses. When I studied, I would do 30 questions in individual taxation, then 30 on property transactions, etc. and go back to the ones you got wrong.

    FAR 75
    AUD 74, 82
    REG 58, 74, 83
    BEC 68, 75
    Licensed 7.1.14!!!

I feel you. Even though I have not taken REG yet, I am currently studying for it having passed the other three sections. I must tell it will be the hardest one for me as I am totally unfamiliar with the tax part of it. If you only knew how jealous I am to those who have been working in the tax field. I have absolutely no idea what to expect and the book is solo long. I am crawling my way through it page by page but I have just realized that I am not going to have enough time to finish all of it. HOWEVER I try to stay positive and just keep going. What else is there to do but to keep trying? I wish you good luck!

    FAR - 89
    AUD - 84
    BEC - 84
    REG - 49, 86
    ETHICS - 96........ DONE!!!

relax! you got a 46% on wiley, not the actual exam. remember that the mcq are another tool used to study. be thankful you have time to make your mistakes now and learn from them

also, don't ignore sims. it brings your understanding of the topics to a whole new level

keep pluggin away, you can do it!

    REG-65,71,74,73,70,74,79
    BEC-60's,60's,69,71,76*,78
    FAR-67,66,65,79
    AUD-54,60's,65,83*,69,80

I am studying for Reg too. The amount of info to remember is enormous. I would suggest take the exam on 30th of May, the last day of the window and use the one month to prepare more thoroughly on Taxes. Anyway you cannot retake the exam in May if you don't make it in April attempt and you will be studying tax again in May anyway. Why not use the additional one month of May ,and be a tax expert.

I am using Yager Audio and Video withe wiley TB. FAR and AUD are done.

Oh one more thing, PRAY every day.

    FAR - 81 29th Aug 2013
    AUD - 84
    REG - 82
    BEC - 89 29th Aug 2014
    Using Yager
