I recently put my notice in and I’m planning on doing 80-100 questions a day so I can slay this beast by christmas. I already passed reg….is 80-100mc’s a day a super turbo boost amount of material to cover assuming it’s WTB and CPAEXCEL that I’m using in conjunction, or is it a little baby dolphin fin amount of work to do? Somedays I will take a break and watch the videos…maybe, but for REG it was just doing mc and using Jeff’s notes which helped me out the most..

Personally, that's actually a lot of MCQ's. It really depends on how quickly you grasp the concept. I take my time and I did about 60 MCQ's a day for FAR and BEC. Now I'm studying for AUD and I do about 70 MCQ's using CPA Excel.

It seems like you understand the material quickly. I wish I can do more than what I do now.

If you're talking about learning the material of a topic and quizzing on it the same day then I think 80 is a lot. If you are talking about learning all the topics first then quizzing and only reviewing those topics that you don't score on then 80 isn't very many if you're studying full time. I know you said you were going to take breaks to watch the lectures, but a lecture is usually only anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on the topic so you could get more MCQs in after the lecture if you are studying full time. I am in review mode and I do at least 65 a night, while working full time and I have a family.

I think it depends on what section you are studying for. I can easily do 100 mc a day for AUD. But I dont think I can do that many a day for REG or FAR.

BEC 82 Gleim & Wiley TB
    AUD 74, 74, 92 Becker & Wiley TB
    REG May 2014
    FAR Aug 2014

    CISA Passed

Well….some questions in WTB for FAR are really easy…I guess it's cause it's a mile wide and only an inch or two deep…maybe nine inches max.

    @goldenpeanut,

Thanks for the clarification of section. I was just thinking, Do I need to step it up? Am I that undisciplined ? will never pass this exam? I don't know how to fit in 80mcq's for far in one day. It might be doable, but I just can't imagine.

    Thank you for the clarification.

If you're trying to do a lot of MCQs, make sure you're not rushing through the questions in order to do it. You should read each question and the options carefully so that you can practice that skill for test day. One word can make a difference, and if you rush you might miss some key word.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

It all depends on what you're doing in conjunction with those questions. If you're reading/watching lectures that same day, then I think 80 a day is plenty. Once you get through all the lectures and reading though, and you're basically just doing non-stop MCQ's, you're going to want to up that amount. For me personally, the few days leading up to my exams when I was in crunch mode, I would re-read my entire textbook in the matter of 2-4 days while doing ~600 MCQ's a day.

    BEC: 88 (8/27/13)
    FAR: 93 (12/3/13)
    REG: 92 (2/27/14)
    AUD: 95 (4/22/14)
