    Hello Friends..

I passed my FAR exam couple of months back..exclusively using Becker only…my score was “76” just on the line…And I noticed many people says that for Audit section Becker is not enough or they don’t prepare well..

Can someone please tell me is Becker material is enough to prepare for Audit section or do we have to aid it with..some other materials…

    thanks…Happy studying..

My AUD score speaks for itself. I'm preparing for all parts just using Becker. I feel that there was nothing on my AUD exam that Becker didn't cover, if anything there was 2 or 3 MCQ word for word from Becker material on the actual exam. The only thing I would add is this: Use the Authoritative Literature Tab (AL) when doing SIMS, there was one SIM that I only knew the answer to by using AL tab.

Some people only use their course and do fine … some people supplement with other material that fits their learning style better (which is ultimately what it comes down to).

Here are some free supplements: https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-study-plan/

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 76
    REG - 92

I've used Becker to do all four parts. However, I felt the most confident – and also posted my highest score – on parts which I've supplemented using NINJA products. The notes are great and you should go into combat with those on hand, and if you commute to work the audio is an immense help!

NINJA works and NINJA is competitively priced. Given how much money it costs to get to where you are right now (books, tuition, big firm prep materials, etc…) the cost of the full suite of NINJA materials is really a paltry sum.

    AUD - 75*, 88 done 5/14! (*exp)
    BEC - 74 , 77
    REG - 65 , 76 (10 point combooo!!)
    FAR - 69 , 75

I used Becker for Audit and added ninja audio in the last couple of weeks. I listened to ninja audio a handful times. It was good to hv audit being explained in an informal tone and by that time I already had a clear picture of what an Audit entails so it helped solidify certain things.

But Becker was my main course. Only used Becker for reading/MCQs and sims and did pretty decent on the exam. I did not encounter anything on the exam that I had not seen before. Even the sims were very much doable! I scored stronger on all MCQs and Sims except for one topic..which is funny cuz I thought I had that topic down really well and only saw a few MCQs from that section.

Yes. I used Becker for Audit doing tons of multiple choice questions many times over. I got a 93. I felt that the questions were pretty similar some being word for word in my opinion.

    Oh yes, definitely.

Almost any major review course is going to be ‘enough' though. Becker definitely is ‘enough' by itself for any one section. Have you seen how thick those books are? I always struggled to get thru all the material Becker offered that I couldn't imagine making time in my study schedule for any supplements.

However, your score is really dependent on you staying motivated, getting through the material and making sure you understand it – so whatever makes that easier is what you should do.

AUD Becker was the only set of materials I thought covered everything. Even on the hard testlets I had seen 80% of all the questions before (with maybe a word changed).

I'm Becker solo for everything and I'm averaging a 90. 1 more to kill! Die FAR DiE!
