So I’m running through some MCQs while I wait for some reports to run. EVERY single last question for the last 10 questions I have chosen an answer, then as soon as I hit ok to tell me if it’s right/wrong, I change the answer in my head and the 2nd one has been right. I’m 3 weeks out from taking BEC and the fact that I’m doing that makes me a little worried that I’m gonna mess up the exam… but then again, I could just be tired. Anyone else do this while you’re studying?

    FAR - 61, retake 1/22

    AUD - 2022

    REG - 2022

    BEC - 2022

I'd start doing that about 300-400 questions in, and give it up for the day. It was more a lack of focus at that point than not knowing the material….

Don't let it get to you. You still have 3 weeks– you can do a LOT of learning in 3 weeks. What's going on today means very little in the grand scheme of things.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

I wish I had that problem. I had the opposite- my first instinct would be correct, but I would change it after thinking it through. It is really hard to try and remember your first instinct while fairly evaluating the problem. I think you just need to spend a little more time on each question and you will get there.

Part of getting through these exams is knowing when to take a break. There have been several times I would start scoring 20-30% on topics I was scoring 80-100% on just hours before. The more I continued, the more frustrated I became, and I would walk away and come back later. Scores were right back to 80-100% again.

    FAR - 2/14/14 - 87 - CPAExcel and Wiley Test Bank
    BEC - 5/2/14 - 79 - CPA Excel and Wiley Test Bank
AUD - 8/28/14 - 86 - CPA Excel, Wiley Test Bank, and Ninja Notes
REG - 1/30/25 - 86 - CPA Excel, Wiley Test Bank, and Ninja Notes

    DONE!!!
