Is the difficulty of the SIMS a good indicator on how well you're doing on REG

My MC went Medium -> Hard -> Medium but my sims were really easy and it’s worrying me. Does that mean anything?

Sims are independent of MC. They could've seemed easy because you were well prepared.

I've always wondered if the sims are dependent or independent of the MCQs.

Looked it up just to be sure…

See FAQ #3: “Please note that the task based simulations are not chosen based on your performance on the multiple choice testlets. They are pre assigned.”

I was a little worried about that on FAR myself. I nailed every single SIM and ended with 45 mins to spare; I was paranoid that somehow my MCQs were in the tank. They are independent though (at least difficulty level, I'm positive that the subject matter must be connected in order to get to the exam weighting on the learning objections), sometimes some AICPA exam draw luck just hits you and 6 or 7 of your strong subjects are sitting right there staring you in the face. May we all get at least one like that…it's a pretty great feeling…
