Just got to let this out and try to calm my nerves.

I’m taking BEC on Wed. and nowhere near ready. This is my 4th exam in 6 months and I completely ran out of steam. When I graduated in Jan. I was going full speed, but by the time I got up to BEC I was ready to slow down. Now it’s 2 days before the exam and HELP!! I’ve been so busy at work and home time just flew by and I’m starting grad school tomorrow so forget about studying much the day before the exam…

I don’t think I’ve been lazy, and I really tried to do the work, but everything took longer than expected (and I set pretty reasonable expectations). Now I don’t have enough time to finish going through the material, so I’m just going over some review notes and doing mcqs and mcqs and mcqs. The problem is that I haven’t covered all the material thoroughly yet…

Although I have been studying for a while, I know there were times I could have spent more wisely, and now I am stuck with this situation. I am getting nervous, but keep pushing those fluttering butterflies away.

I don’t what else to do at this point aside from doing mcqs mcqs mcqs.

Ok back to work. Thanks for “hearing” me vent 🙂

Thanks for the advice! Unfortunately it's too late at night to go to the gym 🙂 but I did get a few minutes of fresh post-hurricane air tonight when I went out to investigate which house in the neighborhood's alarm went off and was causing a very loud study-distraction.

I think I'm going to hit the sack. I keep wavering between what's the point of studying now and continuing to review/do mcqs because every little bit counts…

Right now, exhaustion wins.

I totally know what you are feeling!! This is my 4th exam in 2 months so the steam is pretty much non-existent for me too. There is a HUGE light at the end of the tunnel for both of us.

I have my last exam at 1:30 today. It would be 2 for me this window. I am so ready for this to be done.

Bringit–kudos for taking 4 exams in one window! that is tough. I took 3 last window and it was a ton of work (only passed 2)

Just think you could be all finished by the 3rd week of Sept.!!!

Ok guys…lets finish strong. lets go kill some exams today! (ok, I have to psych myself up by taking tough!!)

@BringIt – I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do 4 in one window. Just keep your focus for a few more hours and, hopefully, you'll be done for good. It's an amazing feeling.

Good luck on FAR! Thanks for reminding me that I'm lucky this is only my 2nd this window and not my 4th! I don't know how you (and everyone who takes 4 in 1 window) have the will and patience to do it, but it's amazing you do! Go get 'em!

Acct – Braveheart

yankee – It's one of my favorites too. About 15 years ago my husband and I were in Scotland on a golf/sightseeing trip with 3 other couples. We had a bus and driver and watched Braveheart while driving from Sterling to Glasgow. I'd seen it before and liked it, but it's much more compelling when you've just seen the Sterling battlefield and William Wallace's sword and you're driving thru the Scottish countryside.
