Hi everyone, I’m new here and I must start off with saying it’s tough to find a username! All the funny names I thought of were taken!

Anyway, I’m here because I need help to become a CPA. I’m currently studying with Becker and I’ve passed BEC so far. I sat for FAR this past Friday and was extremely disappointed by how my exam went. Besides my whole exam being on governmental and NFP (hmphhh)…the sims are what really killed me, which prompted me to look for advice here. I’m very very very weak and not confident in my ability to do journal entries as I’m sure you guessed by the title of this topic and without that capability I don’t think I’ll ever pass this exam!! *sadface*

Does anyone have any advice on what I should do to improve my ability to do journal entries or know of any study material which focuses more on the journal entries aspect of FAR which could help? Any suggestion is appreciated!

I suggest writing out the JE for every question, even if it doesn't require it in order to answer the question. It really helps to just do them over and over and over.
