Just got out of REG…

Just got out of REG and was borderline shocked that two topics hit heavily in review were basically ignored on the test. I obviously can’t say which topics, but one was supposed to be a pretty big deal and I might’ve had 2 MC on it.

Unlike my first go round with REG I don’t feel like I need to immediately file a police report and get a rape kit, so that’s good. Felt more like my experience with FAR where I “only” felt like I’d been run over by a train. So I’ve got a shot I guess..

Hey LongShot – I feel the same way! I just got out from testing this morning too and I feel like they only focused on maybe two topics. I felt okay about my performance on the previous two before receiving the scores, but REG shook me a bit today… I'm just glad I'm not the only one that feels this way!

I totally agree with you guys. I took REG on 5/27 and I feel like I studied so much material, but was tested on such a small portion of it. I can't say I really felt this way about any of the other exams. June 6th cannot come soon enough!

At least it is only one week. I waited four weeks, only to find out I failed REG for the third time. *sad face*

@Determined_To_Succeed, stick with it. You will get it. I know that waiting a month for your score stinks. I waited that long for my BEC score because I tested on the first day of the testing period.

I just got out of reg and feel the same as the others. It felt like I was only tested on 3 main topics and one major one was left out. One of my sims I had the what the heck moment. It was not covered in becker.

Agree with all of the above.

Would add that I was glad not to see that topic. It was nice.

You guys are really freaking me out for my exam tomorrow. How many MCQs and SIMs did you guys do going into the exam and what were you averaging?

I was averaging about in the low 80s on Wiley going into it, but the exam totally caught me off guard on a couple of things-the two topics it basically ignored and then I had a simulation about a section *###* I probably can't disclose, but also never even heard of during my entire review for the exam. June 6 can't come soon enough..

I think I may be giving my test info to my bf to check my score next week. My birthday is on Wednesday, it would be really crappy to follow it up with a fail 🙁

    REG - 70, 89!
    FAR - 78!
    BEC - 77!

I took REG today too, and like all of you, I felt like the stuff I really studied was nowhere to be found, and the questions that were asked were so down in the weeds I was like, wait, did I study that? Oh, and 5 of my 6 SIMS were calculations, 2 were on the same topic which I really didn't expect to have any calculations, and 1 was something that wasn't touched on in anything I studied. All in all a GREAT experience. And to top it off a bird crapped all over my car, and I can't run it through the car wash because it was rear ended a month ago, and the paint hasn't cured. Needless to say, it's a long island ice tea night. Good luck to all of us on June 6!! Sounds like we all need it.

Felt the need to register an account after finding this thread…

Been using Becker to study for REG for the last month and a half or so and was completely blindsided by a lot of the questions as well. Took REG today and walked out of there all but assured I failed. I had 2 research questions which was the only bright spot of the exam. The other 4 sims were all calculations with 8-10 parts each.
