Not really. I'm good for a while and then I start getting them wrong or I don't completely understand a topic and I freak myself out! For example, IFRS, I'm still not sure why in the world I have to learn something that has not been approved for use by the SEC! But if the AICPA said I needed to know how to weave baskets underwater then I guess I'd learn that too. There are some topics that I just don't get and I know it's because I'm reading too much into them, like present values. I check the dates, figure out if it is an annuity due or an ordinary annuity, figure out which interest rate to use and by the time I get to working the problem I'm lost. And don't get me started on constant dollar pricing, that crap is like Greek to me! It's like you said before, I get inside my own head and make stupid mistakes. I just wish I knew how to stop doing that.

I'm feeling the same way for BEC. I understand the concepts when reading them but when it comes on a question, I'm completey lost. Just keep plugging away, we will get it done. One more week!!

@jomarie and kricket I am right there with you guys on some of the REG problems. Last night I was working on Corporate tax MC's. I took REG on 2/29 so it has not been that long since I worked these SAME MC's. Yet I would read the question, would work the problem and it would be wrong. But what I found happening it that I was misinterpreting what the question was asking.(taxable dividend vs. gain) Maybe I was just tired. But the thing we need to remember is that we are persevering and we will conquer this beast!! Some of the concepts I don't understand but I just try to memorize the concept and then at some point it clicks.

When do you guys take your exams? I've got REG rematch one 4/21.

I am. I have to give my hand a rest from time to time or I won't be able to work at all. I think I need to update Java on my laptop because it is taking the Wiley Sims forever to load and it keeps crashing on me. I have started saving it after every sim!

You are my INSPIRATION! Looking at your previous scores, I realized I have no room to mope. Just have to keep going.

I am currently studying for BEC again. Looking back, what would you have done differently for BEC. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
