KY Experience Signoff Question – I do not work for a company with (local) CPAs

I am sitting for the exam in KY, which requires 2000 general accounting hours. I have chosen to work as a Tax Preparer for H&R Block again this year, and believe the hours spent preparing income tax returns will meet the experience requirement –>Can anyone from KY confirm this?

KY does NOT require the CPA guarantor to be my supervisor; only someone that can confirm the experience. Unfortunately, there aren’t any CPAs working with the H&R Blocks in our area. I hate to not be working towards the experience requirement, so I was wondering if anyone here sees a way I can request to have this certified?

    Thanks!

Lilla probably can answer this question, She has an email on here somewhere. I know what you mean though, if you are going to work, why not make it count.

Question for my fellow Kentuckians: Can the one-year work experience for licensure be obtained prior to passing the exam, or does it need to be obtained afterwards? Thought I'd check here and see if anybody could answer before I called the Board.
