NINJA Question –

Hi Everyone,

Just a little backround I am taking BEC Feb 12th. and my FAR score expires Feb. 27th.

I have skimmed the wiley book

After I took Becker Live class which I felt did not help much besides making me go through the material quickly to try to get something out of the class. I did my own self study going through the lectures and doing all the HW MCQ. After that I did some detailed reading and note taking of the Becker book, for chapters 1, 2, 3, and 5. and redid the homework MCQ for those.

I used the ninja book to read the IT section since Becker I feel does not do it justice.

I just finished WTB going through each question once with a 76% average. Kind of worried since I have gone through becker and only getting a 76% on the WTB….

My next step is to review some of my flagged WTB questions.

After I plan to just use Ninja MCQ till I hit the review stage. I basically have around 15-16 days where I can spend around 4-5 hours each day.

So that is my plan of attack right now and I can not fail or I will be so depressed for losing my FAR credit. I plan on utilizing the ninja notes for the IT section.

Just wanted to ask if anyone had any other suggestions on my strategy, and since I have heard not to neglect COSO I want to maybe go through chapter 1 of becker again. Is there any advice on any material that really helped someone put the COSO part together for them?

Also a side note I realized that WTB literally does not go through anything on the dupont/extended dupont formula for ROE.

Also wanted to ask if people found the Becker final review helpful, I was just planning on using just Ninja MCQ for the last 15 days since I had done that for AUD, and REG and worked out. I read a lot of mixed reviews on the becker final exam.

LOL @randomCPA I dont know about that, I originally saved BEC last thinking it would be the easiest of the 4 exams. For some reason I feel like this is probably the second hardest for me behind FAR. Maybe it is because I can not fail or I lose my FAR credit….

Also from how people have recently been posting on the forum I am terrified of BEC, it seems people leave the exam thinking they studied for the wrong exam lol. I dont know if it is true but maybe they made this exam harder recently?

Ninja MCQ has helped me for AUD and REG so I am going to stick to it. If anyone has advice or anyone who utilized both Becker final review and Ninja MCQ for BEC and their thoughts. I was not planning on using Becker Final Review, since I have had so much success just using Ninja MCQ in the final 2 weeks and it has not failed yet.
