I took BEC last week, and I did something extremely stupid. I only had one copy of my code, and I threw it away!!! I tried going on NASBA and “reprinting NTS”, but I had no luck. The code has expired. I then called NASBA, but no luck there. I was wondering if there is anyway to get my code???? Are the codes the same for time/jurisdiction and date of birth is what identifies a person??? I know I printed another copy off, but I cannot seem to find it. I will scour my house when I get home tonight, but I have a feeling it is lost. Also forgot to add, I accidentally deleted the original NTS email too……

Any help would be appreciated. There is nothing like the rush of hitting refresh when scores are being posted 😉

Have you checked your deleted files e-mailbox? Your e-mail cache? May still be in there. I don't think there's too much intelligence to the NTS number … random, based on when you paid for it, and your location.

I usually save the email, but it must have accidentally been deleted from my iphone when I was cleaning the mail out of it.

I have scoured the house and my truck with no luck. I was wondering how long it usually takes for the emails to be mailed out??? It seems like they usually come days if not a week after the scores are originally posted. Any idea how fast they post on the NASBA registration site? I was thinking of logging on like I was going to sign up for a section, and see if it was posted on there any quicker compared to email. Going to keep scouring until Thursday, fingers crossed!!!

Just email NASBA and tell them you no longer have a copy of your NTS and need your section ID. I'm sure you aren't the first person to ask for a section ID.

I called them yesterday. They said once you take the section, the NTS number is permanently deleted from their system.

I guess the worst case would be that you have to wait for them to post your grade to cpacentral, which usually takes a few days.
