haha that's a funny story…I know the scale is 0-99 (I've heard of people getting 99, but never anything below 40!). I don't blame your friend for quitting. There's no way he could have studied though…

Well, if you are clueless, you have a one in four chance for the multiple choice, then 26 is almost right on. 26 destroys my low score. I'm jealous.

That friend was the reason I decided to start with FAR first.

26?! lol thats awesome. I thought you got a 26 just for showing up. You almost have to try to get questions wrong.

I have seen a few 99s. One of my friends got a 97 on AUD. I've seen a couple 99s even in people's signatures on here.

I didn't know such a result existed! It happened last year and she got too many long calculations. Most likely she panicked. Never dared to ask 😀

26??? I walked in my first AUD test without studying a thing and just guessed every question and got a 47. I thought that would be the lowest grade possible. Did your friend answer all the questions on the exam???

wow i've gotton a 53 on BEC 2 yrs ago and thought it was miserable… and assumed 50 to be the lowest grade…. lol so that mean's i AM good for something….

REG 5/30/12 81 expired :/ Retake April or May 2014

@CPAer Telling my folks I got a 26 would be devastating, but why did you quit? I think that with some practice FAR can be done with.

I didnt show up to a FAR exam once (because of a laundry list of excuses) and they gave me a 25 on it. So I would think that would be the lowest score possible.

    REG- 81
    BEC- 72,76
    AUD- 67,88
    FAR- 78

    Done!

I am actually PROUD of my 49 in AUD. I was having serious issues at work that day and had to fit it in on my lunchbreak. Who could pull THAT off? Spent about an hour and 15 minutes in prometric total.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

    @jack don

I purchased all the NTS at once and time was running out.

Wo-o-ow! A 26 score – never heard of this before! Unbelievable!

My true story: I've signed, per an ill advice, for 3 exams in one testing window. And FAR was the 3rd one… I just didn't have any time to prepare for FAR, but didn't want to waste $200+, so I decided to get a “feeling” for this exam. That was the ONLY time when I felt relaxed & happy entering the Prometric test center :-))). I knew I was totally unprepared, so it was pure fun during those 4 hours. To my shock, I scored a 61 score. Probably, I was just lucky selecting the right answers. And I ran out of time, so I didn't touch the last simulation (back then, there were two of them), meaning that I missed the communication part too. So, a 61+10(communication missed)+ some 4 points for the 2nd missed SIM, and I might have had a chance at 75 without any prep. time. Big LOL!

I'm not saying that you can't pass 3 or 4 exams in one testing window: probably, if you study BEFORE applying for a NTS, then it's doable. But if you're just beginning to study and “stupidly” apply for a NTS for all parts, then you are doing yourself a big disservice. Imo.

I've seen this stats (for the previous 2010 exam format): you can get a perfect 99 for FAR, REG and AUD, but only 94 max. – for BEC.

    DONE!

It might be a little weird, but when I fail a test I just think that there are dumber people out there than me. For some odd reason that makes me feel less depressed lol Thanks all you 20's and 30's :p

Back to the lowest score….My first CPA test, FAR, I was totally not prepared, but still decided to take it. I finished all the MCQ and out of the 7 simulations i BSed on 2 of them and left rest blank. I still ended up with a 55. So how can people manage to get 26!? lol
