Anyone still waiting for their Congratulatory Letter from NASBA for the first quarter of 2016? I found out I passed my exam on March 9th and I am still waiting for the letter.

From the NASBA website:

Letters mailed by CPAES will be sent to you by the following dates:

January/February testing window: April 15
April/May testing window: July 15
July/August testing window: October 15
October/November testing window: January 15

I'm not sure when they say sent to you if they mean mailed by or received by. But I received my letter just before the January 15th date listed above.

Agreed with above.. However it depends on the state. I'm in NY passed the exams in Nov and was supposed to get letter 1/15/16.. I ended up getting it the first week of February.

I passed in the Feb 2016 testing window and got my results on March 9th and I am still waiting for my congratulatory letter!! I am registered in Michigan. Does anyone know when I can expect the letter?

Quick update- received the letter today so I am officially done

I received my letter on 5/2/16. However, it was dated 03/28/16….hmm

I received the letter today from the state board (CA). I took my last section in May and found out the result on 6/8/2016. Now I could sleep better. 🙂

Is there any benefit in applying for the certification before you have your 2,000 hours? Like does it somehow speed up the application process once you get the hours if you already have the application filed?
