so i purchased both Becker and ninja and noticed when i do becker i receive around 80% on the practice and under ninja i only get 50% correct. I have a better understand when receiving becker questions over ninja (which im not sure if anyone else had this problem also). Online forums i noticed alot of people said the opposite. I feel like maybe because i used becker for lectures and notes and tried doing ninja MCQ. The terms they were throwing at me in ninja were difficult to know what the question was asking.

My question is, should i continue doing becker homework/progress test (by the way its not like i remember the answer and just put what i knew it was but more of why that answer is correct) or should i focus more on ninja mcq. My exam is in 3 days so its basically limited amount of time to focus on both. Thank you for the suggestions

    BEC: 82
    FAR: 80
    REG: 81
AUD: Last exam, end of may 2016.

Key to passing the exam is understanding the topic chapter and sections, not just memorizing what you read. The more you practice multiple choice, the greater chance you have to passing the exam.

    what test are you taking?

Ninja seems to cover a more broad scope of things for certain topics/subjects. I was like that way for my BEC retake (scoring high 80s in becker and Ninja in the 60's) Try to just learn from the questions you are doing but don't get too bogged down with it.

    AUD - 73,91
    FAR - 79 - Thank you God!
    BEC - 73,79!!!!
    REG - 92 whatttt??!

I used Becker review + flashcards, Ninja Audio, Ninja MCQ supplement on BEC and REG.

    Done! Praise God!

@lauren725 i am taking BEC this Thursday and im glad we both experienced the same situation with the same material. So my other question for you would be, did you possibly focus on one more than the other? or about 50/50

I continued to do becker progress tests, which I think are a great tool. If I were you I would keep doing that and then work ninja new questions only on topics you are weaker on and try to take notes when you get something wrong. I hope that helps!

I was averaging 85 on both Becker and Wiley test bank, but only 73 on Ninja for Audit. I agree with Lauren, ninja asks for more detail on some topics, compare to Becker and Wiley. You should try Becker's final exams.

I'm experiencing the same thing on FAR, and was really starting to doubt myself since a lot of the dates on the Becker material seems to be older (from the 90's). But then after reviewing ninja notes, and listening to the blitz over the weekend I knew most of material already. So I'm just gonna keep reviewing the more heavily tested subjects, go over everything a couple more times and hope that the material on the exam seems familiar.

I'm studying for Far now and I'm having the same issue. I'm currently scoring 70-80% on the Becker progress tests (covering all chapters), but only 50-60% on the Ninja MCQ's.

@Jamessemma and @haseltonk did you get your score back and how did you do?

    BEC - 66, 77 (3/14* expired), 82 (11/15)
    AUD - 58 (4/14), 76 (8/14)
    REG - 75 (6/14)
    FAR - 72 (11/14), 67 (1/15), 68 (5/15), 68 (7/15), 80!!!! (11/15)

Well do what works…..you're passing so you know something. You won't be able to do it all, but it seems you are comfortable with Becker. If it's working why change it.

    It begins with a 75

So, so, SO glad I'm not the only one having this issue. I was honestly getting discouraged with my 56% NINJA average, even getting 70-80 in Wiley.

    BEC - 83 7/25
    REG - 76 5/2/15
AUD - Hopefully before MY Audit...7/5?
    FAR - 83 5/2/16
