I’m getting extremely frustrated. I caught a cold and I’m trying to do homework questions and I feel like I forgot everything.

I don’t have time to be sick!

Daytime cold medicine might work for you. You might feel funny or zombieish, but you'll still be able to study.

I took some Tylenol. It's helped my body symptoms but my head is still foggy.

I feel bad for you Rocky. My exam is Monday and I blew most of last weekend due to a cold. Lost two whole days and now I'm taking a day off just to cram! I hate taking days off to study…..what a waste of vacation time!

I'm at a point where I don't know if I'm actually sick or just suffering from fatigue. I feel flushed up and my voice is hoarse, but I know what being sick is really like, and it doesn't quite feel like I am. No mucus or any of that nasty stuff. Occasional coughing though.

Taking my REG exam next Monday. Definitely going to take it easy on Sunday. At the very least get 8+ hours of sleep.

I swear by Airborne. I take it when i start to feel sick. I'll take a tablet every 4 hours (no more than 3 times a day) and I'm usually 100% by the next afternoon. You should try it.

Edit: Oh, Airborne. IDK, didn't it get fined by the FCC or whatever for false advertising?

Thanks for the tip. I'll pick up some tonight after work.

In the meantime, I'm going to pull myself together and study during my lunch hour. Take that, cold!

I think they were indeed sued for false advertising.

I took some advil about a half hour ago too! It's starting to kick in I think. Hopefully it clears my head so I can focus on studying when I take my lunch break soon.

Ugh, I feel for you. I'm studying for my (hopefully) last section, and this is the time of year when I ALWAYS get sick. Been drinking tons of water and making sure to get my exercise in (running 3-4 times a week, but I'm also training for a half marathon so that's why). Best of luck to you and feel better!!

While Airborne was in a suit, I still cannot deny what it does for me health wise. Since using it, I've gone from being sick 4-5 times a year to once or not at all per year. Personally, I'd rather pay for a $7 bottle of a placebo and feel better the next day than to pay between $50-100 for a prescription and hopefully feel better within a week. Try it or not, it's your choice. I'm only trying to help 🙂

Ugh. Drinking does not a good sleep make.

It will get you sleep though.
