It is pretty ridiculous. I called NY State Board of Accountancy on 7/28 and they had confirmed that they had everything on 6/27, but it would take 16 – 18 weeks to evaluate because they are so backed up. I was originally quoted 12 – 16 by the Office of the Professions. Anyone who passed and finished in May and applied in June have any status updates on their own license?

I submitted everything for licensing in January and got my license in May.

I would periodically check in on the status, but it seems that 4 to 5 months is what it is.

All you can do is be patient and check in periodically…the hard part is over! Enjoy getting back into the swing of life without studying for the CPA exam. You'll be licensed before you know it!
