    Hi,

    I was just wondering what you guys think about using Wiley 2012 book and Yeager 2011 videos for regulation exam which I’m sitting for in feb 2013. I am using the video mainly and the book for reference to what Phil is talking about.

    Finally done!!! Experience-pending. Ethics- Pending.

    Those 2011 videos were filmed in 2010…for REG you can probably make it work though — there are affordable, updated options out there to supplement (wiley test bank and ninja notes plug).

    In the Wiley 2011 videos keep an eye out for the casualty loss floor. I believe they point it out in the lecture however that tax year 2010 it was $500 but it has since changed back to $100 floor and in the 2011 book it was printed as $500.

    The only problem you may have with using 2011 lecture with 2012 book is that the problems in the 2012 book are not in the same exact order as the 2011 book (i.e: they added some questions) so when you are following along with the lecture and he says lets work problem #4, it may actually be problem #6 in the 2012 book.

    Bnrhilton- Ya the 2012 books have more stuff in it so the MCQ's numbering does get confusing following the video.. I am planning to go by the AICPA current CSO's and study accordingly. I don't have much time left as i have scheduled it for feb 25th.

    You shouldn't ever have to get the CSOs out … just follow the review materials and do a million MCQs.

    My Yaeger videos and book are from 2011 for REG which I plan on taking in April/May. Should I purchase the 2013 videos and book?
