    NINJA Question –

Has anyone passed by only using the ninja materials? I am not having luck with any review course and am thinking on switching to either Gleim or Reg.

Do you think it is better to keep doing, lets say 20-30 random Ninja Mcq over and over? Or do it topic by topic?

If you do it randomly, your score will improve over time right? Or is it better to go topic by topic until you are scoring 70+, then move on?

I just took FAR by only using the NInja MCQ. The questions on the exam were very similar, but I have yet to see what my score is. I was expecting the exam to be much more complicated! Didn't seem too bad at all.

If I were studying, I think I would do topic by topic and then later switch to random.

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 76
    REG - 92

I would do topic by topic. I'm using Roger, but supplementing with Ninja Audio + MCQ, so once I've finished a Roger section, I listen again and again to the audio for that section and attempt multiple choice. But when I move on to the next section's MCQ, I include the areas I've already studied, so I don't forget.

    BEC - 72, 82! ✓
    FAR - 80! ✓
    AUD - 70, 92! ✓
    REG - 74, 78! ✓

I passed three in one window almost entirely using Ninja MCQ, Flash cards, and Notes (except for BEC, which I didnt have time to review). My strategy was basically to review flash cards on a topic and answer the questions on that topic, while making new flash cards on concepts i got wrong and am likely to forget in the future without reinforcement. Many others write these notes onto their Ninja notes, which is equally valid. I prefer new flash cards for a couple of reasons, though. One, I've used flash cards regularly since high school, so I was most comfortable with this. Two, and most importantly IMO, using the spaced repetition algorithm in Any Memo (or Anki) (and keeping up with your flash card reviewing) helps you retain things better, minimizing the stuff you forget when it's review time.

TL; DR version: Yes, you can pass with just Ninja. Don't assume that throwing more money at the problem will make things better.

Edit: Jeff's advice is what I basically did. After I went through every topic individually I went random.

    FAR (8/17/14) - 86
    AUD (8/22/14) - 90
    BEC (8/31/14) - 86
    REG (2/29/16) - 90

Study Materials: Ninja Notes, Flash Cards, and MCQ
