Optimizing Sim Partial Credit

Is there a strategy for optimizing partial credit on the simulations? FAR in particular, if I don’t know how to do a sim, am I better off filling in zeroes and guessing on accounts on a journal entry for example? And if more blanks than necessary on a journal entry are provided, do you have to enter zeroes, or leave it blank? Thanks.

Read the instructions, I know for some sims it said if no entry is needed put “no entry” or put zeros or whatever. So you can at least make a guess on everything.

I came here to say what Thrawn touched on as well. I would primarily focus on reading the instructions for each of the individual SIMS because it may not always be the same situation. Naturally you are going to want to guess rather than leave it blank. If I ran into this situation I would primarily try to focus on getting the accounts correct – obviously you have a much greater chance of success for this since there are a limited number of options. Best of luck!

I've also heard some suggest you may be able to find examples of the journal entries in the literature. Might be worth a try.
