Super jealous dude. The rain has surely helped fill up those rivers. I've been wanting to hit the Comal or Frio before the summer is over. I told myself if I pass FAR next month I owe it to myself to take a few days and enjoy some central Texas sunshine. I went to school in San Marcos so I very much miss the hill country.

Haha, we would always go down the Comal as kids because we didn't want keep scraping our butts on rocks or picking up our tubes on the Guadalupe. Plus, there was never enough rain to keep it flowing how it needed to.

I did that two weeks ago. We drove up Friday, played in the river until we ran out of beer, went back to the campsite and opened the next case, cooked dinner, drank beer, got back in the river until 1 or 2 am.

Saturday, got up, had a beer to cure the headache, went and got more beer, started the float at 11, finished the float around 4:30-5, got out at 6, sobered up, drove home.

Fantastic way to spend the weekend. If I could do it differently, I would've stayed another night, floated again on Sunday, and then come home.
